ODIE in Post, Week 4: New Paint on the Old House

Confession from your webmaster: until this week, the homepage of this very site still said "SHOOTING MAY 2026" in large confident letters. The movie wrapped photography almost a month ago. Websites, like films, are never finished, only abandoned, and this one got abandoned mid-sentence while we were all busy actually making the thing it advertises.

So the site is getting its summer refresh. The headline business is simple: ODIE is now in post-production, and every page is being updated to say so. We're cleaning up titles and descriptions, straightening out the behind-the-scenes plumbing that helps people find us, and generally giving the place the once-over it deserves. One milestone worth its own sentence: ODIE has an IMDb page now. It's real. You can look it up. There is something about seeing the title in that database that makes the whole enterprise feel less like a group of friends with a script and more like a film.

The production diary from the shoot isn't going anywhere, by the way. All those daily entries stay up as the permanent record of how this movie got made, sunburns and company moves and all. Turns out the most honest marketing we have is the diary we kept when nobody was grading us.

As for the movie itself: the edit continues through the summer, working from assembly toward a locked cut. Score and color follow. The finish line for post is late summer, and past that sits the long game, a push toward the 2027 festival circuit and, eventually, a screen near you with Odie's face on it.

One month ago we were a crew standing in the Texas heat. Today we're a hard drive in Los Angeles, a score taking shape, and a website finally telling the truth.
