We’re excited to officially welcome several new cast members to ODIE as the film continues to come together here in Austin.
Each of these performers brings something distinct to the project, and we’re grateful to have them joining the production.

Leading this round of cast announcements is Syd Goin, who joins ODIE as Blu. A gifted stand-up comedian and a sharp sketch and improv performer, Syd has trained at Upright Citizens Brigade in New York and also studied at The Hideout, ColdTowne Theater, and The Groundlings. She has performed with ColdTowne’s Hot Water, the duo Lucid, Juicebar, and Gold Comedy’s Juicebox, bringing a live-wire mix of wit, spontaneity, and emotional presence to her work. Beyond the stage, Syd also brings a growing screen résumé, with IMDb credits including Cross Paths, Alex Strangelove, Sell Out, Love and Lithium, Lines of a Woman, Honey, Escapism, The Last Trip, and To New Beginnings. She is exactly the kind of multifaceted performer who can bring texture, humor, and unpredictability to ODIE’s world, and we’re thrilled to have her in the film.
Lou Chapman joins the cast as Adam. Lou brings a grounded presence to the role, and we’re excited to have him helping bring this part of Odie’s world to life.

Vaibhav Gaddam will appear as City Worker #1. His addition helps deepen the texture of the everyday Austin environment that surrounds Odie’s journey, adding to the film’s lived-in realism.

Soji Brown has been cast as Dr. Wilson. His presence adds strength and credibility to an important role within the story, and we’re excited to see his work on screen.

As ODIE continues moving through production, we remain focused on building a cast and crew that reflect the heart, honesty, and human texture of the film itself. These new additions are an important part of that process, and we’re proud to welcome them aboard.
More updates soon as we continue bringing ODIE to life.
